Corrections, Clarifications & Updates Policy
At Dr Insanity, we are committed to presenting accurate, evidence-based reporting on every case we cover. Our videos are produced using official records, bodycam footage, interrogation materials, and other verified sources available at the time of publication.
However, true crime cases are not static. New evidence can emerge, legal outcomes can change, and additional context may become available after a video has been released. In some instances, details may also require clarification or correction.
Because published videos cannot be modified or updated in place, any corrections, clarifications, or newly verified information are documented on our official corrections page.
Each update is clearly labeled and includes the nature of the change, the date it was made, and supporting context where applicable.
We categorize updates as follows:
- Correction: A factual error that has been identified and corrected.
- Clarification: Additional context provided to improve accuracy or prevent misinterpretation.
- Update: New developments related to a case that occurred after the original publication.
We review all credible information and update our reporting when appropriate. Our goal is to maintain transparency, accountability, and a clear public record of any changes tied to the cases we present.
If you believe a correction or clarification is needed, you may contact us with supporting information for review.
